Dorthe Dahm-Malling works on litigation and arbitration cases concerning construction law issues.

She advises public authorities and private companies on the construction process, in particular regarding disputes related to construction and infrastructure projects. Dorthe has extensive experience in litigation and arbitration, including expert appraisal and negotiations aimed at achieving amicable settlement of disputes.

Since 2021 Dorthe, along with colleagues from VILTOFT, has advised a major infrastructure developer in a large-scale arbitration case, including expert appraisal against a turnkey contractor who had been appointed to construct a large industrial plant. The developer terminated the contract during the construction period, and one point of dispute was the developer’s right to do so. Other issues were responsibility for delays, and the progress and quality of the partially constructed plant.

Since 2023, Dorthe, along with colleagues from VILTOFT, has been assisting a major client in the infrastructure sector in a complex series of cases, including an arbitration case and several expert appraisals relating to a turnkey contractor. The disagreement between the developer client and the turnkey contractor involves claims regarding additional works, defects and delays.

Dorthe speaks the Scandinavian languages and English.
