Throughout his career, Henrik Hauge Andersen has advised on construction and procurement law within the building and civil engineering sector. He has acted for clients across all sectors of the construction industry, with a particular focus on employers and consultants, while also regularly representing contractors.

Henrik’s principal area of expertise is dispute resolution. He has extensive experience in litigation, arbitration and negotiation, and has represented clients in numerous major court and arbitration proceedings in the construction sector. His experience includes matters relating to the Copenhagen Metro project, local authorities, the social housing sector, the development of major corporate headquarters, insurance disputes and all aspects of consultants’ liability and professional responsibilities. However, his primary objective is to achieve swift and effective dispute resolution through negotiation and alternative dispute resolution methods, including mediation and conciliation.

Henrik is recognised by leading international legal directories. Chambers Europe notes that he “focuses on spotting the crucial questions and is therefore very strong in strategical issues”, while Legal 500 states that he has “…a strong client focus and industry knowledge, as well as a high level of business ethics and strong communication skills”.

From 2012 to 2025, Henrik co-organised Denmark’s leading construction law conference, Juridiske udfordringer i bygge & anlæg (Legal Challenges in Building and Construction), together with Insight Events. He also serves on the board of the Danish Society for Construction and Consulting Law.

In addition, Henrik delivers tailored courses to public authorities and private companies.
