Profile

Jacob Allon specialises in construction law, litigation and dispute resolution.

He advises public authorities and private companies on all issues related to construction, the formation and interpretation of contracts, and dispute resolution in general.

Jacob has extensive experience in conducting extensive, complex litigation and arbitration cases in close collaboration with the client’s legal and technical staff. He always aims for the solution that is best for the client, be it in the form of a settlement or a final judgment or arbitration award. Jacob has extensive experience in negotiating and concluding settlement agreements. He has participated in extensive expert appraisal procedures and assisted several of the country’s largest companies in complex arbitration cases concerning very large construction projects to a value in excess of DKK 1 billion.

Since 2019, Jacob has been a legal adviser and regular discussion partner to the Copenhagen Metro and Greater Copenhagen Light Rail.

In 2024, Jacob assisted the Copenhagen Metro and Greater Copenhagen Light Rail with surveys and expert appraisals in connection with alleged damage to neighbouring properties, including the Odd Fellow Mansion, and provided advice on existing contractual relationships, including additional claims filed by contractors, and on pending court and arbitration cases.

Jacob speaks the Scandinavian languages and English.
