Katrine Pristed Michaelsen specialises in construction law, litigation and dispute resolution.

She advises parties from all parts of the construction sector on issues related to contract negotiations and the execution stage.

Katrine provides advice on drafting and negotiating contracts, on managing conflicts during building and construction projects, and on subsequent dispute resolution. In addition, she has extensive experience of infrastructure projects.

References

In 2024, Katrine assisted a client in a large arbitration case, which mainly concerned delay and disruption costs. Her responsibilities included legal services in relation to claims regarding delay caused by regulatory requirements, and she also provided services in relation to the majority of the client’s defect claims.

Representing a major infrastructure developer, Katrine conducted the majority of the client’s negotiations with a contractor regarding additional work and delays during the execution phase of a very large project.

Katrine speaks the Scandinavian languages and English.
