Since 2022, Sebastian has assisted a publicly owned port in a major arbitration case, including expert appraisal, against a lead contractor who was engaged to construct an oil terminal for the port. The port owner terminated the contract in the construction period, and the dispute concerns the justification for the termination, liability for delays as well as the condition and quality of the partially constructed oil terminal.
Since 2023, Sebastian, together with colleagues in VILTOFT, has advised a construction client in a major case comprising arbitration proceedings and several expert appraisal procedures, the opposing party being a lead contractor responsible for the design and construction of a transport system for a large infrastructure project.
