CAREER LAW STUDENT

LAW STUDENT

Our law students gain direct insight into the work of our lawyers. Depending on how far you have come in your studies, you will be asked to draft memos on legal issues and to provide ad hoc assistance in our cases.

What kind of work?
Working as a law student with us is both demanding and challenging. You will be involved in some of our cases and you will gain direct insight into the work of our lawyers.

Your typical work assignments will be to draft memos about specific legal issues and to provide ad hoc assistance in the court and arbitration cases.

In addition, our law students are in charge of keeping our library up-to-date at all times.

What do we expect?

As the work of our law students is mainly of a legal nature, we normally require you to have successfully completed your second year of studies with fine results. It is also important to us that you have interests outside the field of law and that you fit into our team well.

You will usually be required to work 10-15 hours a week, but we are very flexible, especially during exams.

WHAT DO OUR STUDENTS SAY?

One of our students:

Why did you decide to work for VILTOFT?

When I was studying for my BA degree I met some of the VILTOFT lawyers who gave lectures at my university. So I had no doubt that VILTOFT’s professional standards and commitment were top-level.

How will your job benefit your future career?

At VILTOFT you learn the practical approaches to legal issues. You also see what life as a lawyer can be like, and you have an opportunity to immerse yourself in law in a more specific way than you do when you write papers at the university. Working at VILTOFT gives me a platform that I will no doubt benefit from when I apply for a job after graduating.
